Great washing machine but iDos system flawed
I love the Bosch Washing Machine and Heat Pump drier I purchased however I am in the process of replacing the washing machine which is under 5 years old. I've already had a Bosch service tech out a couple of times (which is quite expensive) of which the last visit he replaced the iDos drawer citing they can have issues due to the moisture. Well... this is a problem because it's a washing machine and there is always going to be moisture, and I refuse to pay almost $500 for yet another replacement - I will be buying another Bosch Washing Machine, but it will not have the iDos and recommend others considering the Bosch to not have iDos as well.
Died after 2 years and 3 months
Terrible product and brand. The dispenser was faulty exactly on the two year mark and then three months later the motor burn out! Only used by a couple, so no large loads. A cheap product with marketing catch phrase 'German made' means nothing about quality of product. Dont be duped by the brand and 'quality'
Disappointing
We bought this machine in August 2021. Performed okay initially - not great, just okay. After 3 years the machine started pausing mid-cycle and we were told that to fix it we would need to replace the power board which would cost $900! Almost cheaper to buy a new machine. Less than 1/4 of the average washing machine lifespan. Very disappointed.
