The ratio of the materials used is 50/50 to produce a sense of harmony. The cone seems to balance weightlessly upon the cylindrical base, which is crafted from the finest marble and stone, or built with generous planks of timber sandwiched with alternating grain direction.
The result is an object that is both sculptural and functional.
