Having put in a new kitchen we chose the semi integrated dishwasher because not only of the high quality product but also for the cutlery tray. We were amazed just how much cleaner our crockery was after using it for the first time. It looks fantastic in the kitchen and adds to the slim line affect we were after.

I decided on this dishwasher over another top of the range as I preferred the stacking options, love the cutlery tray and great range of programs.

We purchased our aeg dishwasher 12 months ago as we wanted an inbuilt for a kitchen renovation. First problem is it uses heaps of rinse aid, when I fill the dispenser I only get about 4 or 5 washes. It uses a bottle of rinse aid in about 2 weeks. Second problem, part of the plastic of the top cutlery drawer broke off. Third problem, the door is really stiff and hard to open/close. Fourth problem, the filter system clogs up frequently, even after using finish dishwasher cleaner. Fifth problem, the screw that holds the spinning arm of the bottom sprayer has come off, found the arm in the bottom of the dishwasher but no sign of the screw (will be calling aeg about that tomorrow). Sixth problem, it doesn’t wash dishes anywhere as good as the Miele we had before. Seventh problem, I can’t get tall items in because the separate cutlery tray takes up too much room. Eight, the angle of the ‘fingers’ that hold the plates makes it difficult to stack. Nine, the quality is poor, very plasticky, and flimsy, and the racks do not slide in and out very well. For a high end machine this falls well short of my expectations - I preferred my Miele.
