Westinghouse Gas Oven with seperate electric grill
i have had my gas oven for about a month now. It replaced my 20 yo Chef gas oven, which had a seperate gas griller. i really like having an electric griller, as i was sick of having to click, click, click my previous one for it to start. The tray on this one does get very hot but the trick is to have it sitting out about 2 cm when cooking, so then that bit is not hot on your fingers. I find the oven cooks my food beautifully. yes there is a breeze comes out the top of the door but you only notice it when standing in front of oven, not on the side & i have no problem with the shelves.
