Very Noisy Extractor.
Purchased this product around 6 months ago to match the Smeg 900 oven that was purchased at the same time.
Wish I had read the reviews prior to purchase as the noise issues that are common across the reviews is a real turn off.

Stylish but very very loud
I've been living with the rangehood for nearly 3 years. Stylistically it's s winner. Very classy looking piano black gloss finish. However, functionally, it falls short. Maximum extraction capacity is 780m^3/h, half as good as the industry leader. But even on the lowest setting, it's LOUD. In an open plan house, that means everyone is woken up, the TV volume needs to go up to max, conversation is a yelling contest. I'm not kidding. This thing is unacceptably loud. Industrial kitchen loud with substantial worse performance than an industrial extractor.
Terrible super loud
Got this range hood a few years ago it has broken down several times, it is so loud you don’t even want to use it , makes no difference what fan speed it’s on they are all the same , I have all Smeg appliances as they look amazing but very disappointing for the money you spend
