Smeg 60cm telescopic slide out rangehood
Rangehood easy to use but build quality okay but it is flimsy compared to our old telescopic range hood
Lots of power for a small unit
Great purchase, super quick delivery, easy to instal. Had to replace our old unit which was
exactly the same as this one, due to the fan and light buttons stopped functioning. The old unit
lasted 10yrs so will see how long this lasts. So far works perfectly. Quality materials that feel strong
Substandard and Overpriced
It was intended to replace a defective previous model.
1- The motor is weaker, noisier and has an anoying hiss
2- The controls have only 3 speeds, not 4 as previous
3- There is no timer turn off as previous
4- The aluminium filters are weak and bend with the dishwasher jets
5- The aluminium filters have 1/2 thicknes of previous model
6- The aluminium filters have 1 locking latch instead of 2 of previous model
7- There were no carbon filters for recirculating on the box (I'm using exaust anyway)
It does not justify the price at all. Get a $250 unit and you'll get better result.
In a nutshel: horrible.
