Awesome SMEG toaster
Love my SMEG toaster in pastel green. Works well and looks great long side my SMEG kettle.

Good looking but does not toast
Toaster needs to be run twice to toast once at max level 6 then a second time at level 4. This has gotten progressively worse requiring higher settings over time (the toaster is now 16 months old) . There have been a number of reviewers complaining about this fault so it's probably a design issue. The good it's being replaced under their 2 year warranty, the bad is the process to get the toaster replaced is painful, it includes cutting the old toaster cord, with lots of videos and photos and waiting for the replacement. Once the steps were completed SMEG were forthright in offering a warranty replacement.

Nice enough but not the colour I expected the champagne. I don’t think it’s value for money functionally
