New Miele after 26 years of original dishwasher
We replaced our 26 year old Meile semi-integrated dishwasher with the G5000. Why go elsewhere when you have such a great track record. The installers were on time and did a great job replacing the unit and re-installing the kitchen facia. The new unit is very quiet and lots of programable features and time delay. So far so good.
New model vs old
If you have an older Miele, the door panel attachment is different so you’ll have to figure that out. If you liked your previous adjustable cutlery drawer you’ll have to forget about that! The new tablet drawer is flimsy and I expect will be the first thing to break. Everything just feels a bit cheaper now. Not what I was expecting. Probably my last Miele given the above and the fact it took 4 months to arrive.
