This top loader is unique in that it does not have an agitator. Instead, LG’s TurboDrum® mechanism rotates the drum in one direction, while the pulsator directs water the opposite way. This achieves a thorough wash while being gentle on your fabrics. There are a host of programs to select from including wool, quick wash, and pre wash+. The latter provides extra soaking and agitating time, ideal for removing stubborn stains.
You can use your smartphone with the LG ThinQ app to run Smart Diagnosis®. This feature allows you to run troubleshooting, so the washer itself will let you know if there are any issues. You can keep your eye on your laundry during the entire cycle without opening the lid, thanks to the stylish tempered glass lid.
Smart Diagnosis
If you ever run into any issues, you can download the LG ThinQ® app to your smart device to run the Smart Diagnosis® feature. The washer will run troubleshooting on itself and let you know exactly where the issue lies.

The wide, transparent tempered glass lid allows you to view the progress of your laundry without interrupting the cycle. It also makes a great style complement to the rest of this sleek unit.
