I’m generally very happy with the performance of this washe, it cleans well, it’s quiet, and the 10 kg drum capacity is great for large loads. However, I’m really disappointed with the size of the door opening. I previously owned an LG 10 kg washer (model WD12595D6), which had a massive door opening. It was perfect for washing sheets, doonas and large loads, which is essential in my household because I have three dogs and go through a lot of bedding every week. When choosing a new washer, I went for another 10 kg LG model, assuming the opening would be similar. The photos on the LG website also made it look like the door was large, so it felt like an easy choice. Unfortunately, when the washer arrived (I wasn’t home at the time), I realised immediately that the door opening is much smaller than my previous 10 kg machine. The drum itself is spacious, but actually getting sheets in and out is a struggle, I can barely fit a sheet through the opening, and removing a full load is even more difficult. After checking the LG website more closely, it seems only the 14 kg model has the large opening similar to my old machine. I wish LG had been clearer about the difference in door sizes between the models, because this really affects usability. The washer itself works very well, but the small door opening is a big drawback for anyone who regularly washes bulky items.

We have upgraded from our LG 8kg front loader to the 14kg Series XL Front Load Washer in graphite and wow 😍 It is the perfect addition to our big family. Being able to wash a full set of king size bedding in one wash is amazing. A very easy to use machine that’s also really good looking. Quiet, water and energy efficient it really ticks all the right boxes ✅

I’ve been using this LG washing machine for a while now, and I’m really happy with it. It’s surprisingly quiet — even when it’s spinning, you can barely hear anything. Clothes come out really clean, and when it comes to socks, they’re noticeably cleaner than with my previous washing machine. I also love the design. The creamy matte white color looks much nicer than the glossy dryer I have — kind of modern and cozy at the same time. It has good capacity too; it can handle quite a big load quietly and consistently well. Overall, I’m very satisfied. Quiet, efficient, and looks great in my laundry room. Definitely recommend it! I think LG truly strives to make their products better with each new model. Big thumbs up to them!
