[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this toaster for about two months. I like the sturdiness of it, but I am a little disappointed with the way it toasts. I can toast regular white bread on two sometimes it has to go to three, but if I toast a sliced sourdough, then you have to turn it up to four using the first slot - but the back of the toast is toastier. It doesn’t toast evenly. I tried using the Back slot and the same thing happened the front of the toast is sort of light, but the back of the toast is toasted.

I own this toaster for 3 years and for the last 6 months or so, it doesn't toast like it should....either burns it or barely toasts it. A toaster should last longer than 3 years

This product consistently toasts only one side of the bread, making it necessary to reverse the slices to toast the other side. This takes twice as long as it should, and I am at a loss to understand how this flaw passed muster in the first place! I know it is a flaw because Kitchen Aid replaced my first toaster for this reason, but the replacement does exactly the same thing!
