Cooks wonderfully
We had an all gas stove before, so this was a natural replacement. Gas main oven cooks much more moist than drying electric ovens, great heat distribution for browning potatoes well and well insulated against the cabinetry. Great choice.
Gas oven needs its own electrical circuit...
I haven't yet used my oven as the kitchen reno is still underway and I certainly love the look of it - very beautiful. HOWEVER, I chose gas cooktop and gas oven as that's what I was replacing and didn't have a dedicated electrical circuit (just an electrical power point) to the stove and no-one told me until the stove was being installed that this gas stove needed to be hard-wired into its own circuit as it has an electric grill, fan-forced oven, clock and electronic ignition adding up to over 10 volts so a 15 volt dedicated electrical circuit needs to be installed. It cost us $500 to do this and thick electrical cables running through the roof then down the outside of our house to the kitchen. I rang Appliances Online to let them know that their sales people need to advise customers of this. It certainly then blew the budget.
