We are long time supporters of all things Dyson and have had many appliances over many years that we have been very satisfied with. Robots however have been a mixed experience and I can't help thinking the guys really aren't leaders here but more trying to keep up and failing. The overall purchase and delivery was quick and easy as always. Packing was excellent as was the overall ease of setup. The experience went downhill as soon as I started mapping, vast outdoor areas were mapped which is a known issue when you have floor to ceiling glass, addressing this you need to add keep out areas which is nonsense. Further to this we have large open plan floor space and you can't divide this in the map because the glass is not seen as a wall and the divider will not snap to it - result one huge room & no easy option to focus cleaning. Putting this aside believing we could live with it I attempted the first clean which was also the last. 2 Major issues: 1. Robot tries to force its way into the toekick space under the kitchen / utility & pantry spaces it simply didn't have the ability to recognise it was just too tall and repeatedly banging itself into the bottom edge of the cupboards causing damage to itself and the underside of the cupboard doors 2. Low furniture, for whatever reason it seems to believe it could go over these coffee tables with open bases rather than clean to the edge of them, result was same as above with the robot trying to go through by banging into it, backing up and trying again, moving along a few cm and repeating. In short we waited for some time after it launched reading mixed reviews and eventually plunged in to discover that this new robot was no where near as good or capable as the VisNav it replaces, the VisNav has none of the above issues, recognises the furniture when it moves around the room and cleans to the edge every time, Consider carefully before you buy, we will be sticking with the older and much more capable VisNav as a result of this very disappointing experience

i have had my dyson robot for a month now and the robot itself is so good but getting it onto your phone is a mission and you have to get it on your phone to get the robot to work but this took me most of the day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Dyson Spot+Scrub AI for several weeks. It does my kitchen, hallway, bathroom and living room in roughly 19 minutes. You can pick what section to clean, so it can do all sections or just a singular one like the living room. It knows what's the living room, what's the hallway, what's the kitchen and what's the bathroom—which is pretty cool. Honestly, it does it quicker than me—when I hoover I get on all fours, and then I've still got to fill the mop bucket and add chemicals. It's not as thorough though, getting close to the corners but missing about an inch and a half to an inch and three quarters away from the wall. It's dead simple to use, you just let it get on with it. It uses heated water to clean the floor as it mops. I've sat on the sofa watching the green light scan the carpet for objects—it's quite therapeutic, really. It's not very loud when it's cleaning either, only getting slightly noisy for about 30 seconds when it docks to empty. The tanks are simple to empty from the main hub too, and after several hoovers and mops I've only had to empty it once. Over the course of a month it's probably saving me an hour to an hour and 40 minutes worth of cleaning, but honestly probably more than that because I don't have to do anything and I find myself having it clean more often. The suction on the hoover is really good too—I haven't had any issues with it sucking up debris or lint or whatever off the floor.
