Finish: Ash Timber (Black Oiled)
The De La Espada Twenty-Five Shelving Unit emerged from diverse influences ranging from Chinese Ming dynasty shelving to timber sculpting details seen in Brancusi sculptures and Hans Wegner chairs. Designed for flexibility, the Twenty-Five Shelving Unit is available in a range of sizes, and, with the exception of the fixed top and bottom shelves, each shelf is adjustable with a hidden mechanism. Hex keys with beautiful cork handles are stored in the base of the shelving unit, so the shelves may be easily adjusted at any time. Brass brackets allow the unit to be secured to the wall.

Craftsmanship
Crafted at the solar-powered De La Espada factory in Portugal. Designed by De La Espada Atelier and rigorously engineered with the support of their in-house product development team and expert craftspeople.
Material Notes
De La Espada's European Ash is from Portugal, Spain and France. European Ash is a hardwood that has long been prized by cabinetmakers due to its versatility and simple beauty. This dense timber has a coarse yet even texture, compressive strength, and an appealing straight grain. It varies in colour from a cream to pale tan colour and accepts stains and coatings more readily than other timbers.
Furniture/Homeware Material Details
Timber is sustainable solid wood from North America or Europe, offering long-term repairability of the surface. Natural colour and grain variations in every plank make each piece an individual. Traditional wood joinery bonded with wood glue ensures structural integrity. All finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed or rubbed.
