Sourced from the midwestern United States, American black walnut is revered for its strength and rich, expressive grain. Finished with Danish oil, the timber’s natural beauty is enhanced while maintaining a surface that can be renewed over time.
Sonar 112
Inspired by the nuanced textures of fine suiting tweeds, Sonar 112 is a sophisticated textile designed by Raf Simons. Woven from a blend of wool, viscose, linen, and supportive fibres, it offers a rich interplay of tone and texture. Its soft, silvery-grey hue lends a quiet refinement, while a Martindale rating of 20,000 rubs ensures comfort and resilience in equal measure.

Produced in De La Espada’s solar-powered workshop near Portugal’s Silver Coast, each piece is crafted by independent master artisans. Combining modern precision with traditional handwork, the process is tailored to bring out the finest qualities of every material used.
