Potentially great oven, terrible support
This is potentially a great oven but in 6 weeks due to an install error we still cannot use it, asko support has been terrible, a part of the reason we purchased this oven was due to the 10 year warranty, admittedly the install company made a mistake and we have had to use asko support to remediate it, they have been slow, rude and disorganised, I’m at my wits end and about to go to consumer affairs to demand a refund for an oven I still haven’t had the opportunity to use. We were going to redo all our appliances with asko and will now avoid this brand, very disappointed and do not recommend.
Improve the instruction manual
Excellent oven with lots of features. We’ve only used it a couple of times and it works well. Only disappointment is the lack of detail in the accompanying instruction manual. For instance, after installation the oven somehow ended up in demo mode. When we tried to cook, the lights came on but there was no heating. There is nothing in the booklet to tell you how to get into or out of demo mode. Eventually I found the secret on YouTube. It would also be helpful if there were a few recipes so that we could experiment with the oven’s features. The next challenge we have is understanding the way the oven goes into sleep mode and how to wake it up. Supposedly, the display screen switches off and turning the selector knob wakes it up. This isn’t happening. We have to press the cancel button on the screen to wake it up.
