[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aus Erfahrung Gut! We had an AEG ceramic cooktop before, but induction is even better.

We installed the IKE63471FB 60cm cooktop about 18 months ago and have been disappointed with it from the first moment. Although the literature did say that power is distributed among the 3 cooking zones, what we didn't know was that the power drops so dramatically when requiring more than one cooking pan that it is impossible to use more than one element at a time. So much for having 3 zones! We often have to cook our meals in stages if they need different cookware (e.g. rice/pasta first, then meat, then veg). We find this very inconvenient! Another annoyance is that the touch controls for the hotplate settings are very fiddly - you cannot just slide your finger to select the level - it must be touched in exactly the right position. And the lower temperature levels are not set up in a functional way - anything less than 5 gives no heating at all, making a low boil difficult.
