The owners of this Stockton, NSW, home requested a moody yet sophisticated sanctuary. Active Kitchens delivered in spades, achieving the design and installation of a kitchen and butler’s pantry combo that is as unique as it is bold.

High-quality cabinetry blends with the handsome pairing of AEG’s 60cm Built-In Combi-Microwave with a 60cm Pyrolytic Oven, collectively bringing a purposeful presence that complements the installation of a suite of high-end appliances.

More than simply looking the part, the AEG pairing brings technology and convenience to every meal prep via the combi-microwave’s multiple cooking functions and intuitive touch controls, combining the speed of a microwave with the precision of a traditional oven to deliver exceptional results in less time.

The complementary AEG Pyrolytic Oven not only features advanced cooking technology, but also a self-cleaning pyrolytic function that turns residue to ash for easy disposal.

Also featured are a 70cm V-ZUG induction cooktop paired with a Whispair Undermount Rangehood, plus a matched and integrated Liebherr fridge and freezer combo.

The striking incorporation of a raw concrete wall and polished concrete floors offer an industrial-style juxtaposition to the dramatic ambience of dark cabinetry and countertops.

Further underscoring the bespoke design and precision craftsmanship of this compact, yet highly functional kitchen is dramatic under-bench lighting and an intriguing stone splashback, while other key features include a Hafele pull-out pantry and kick drawers for extra storage.
