Mixed feelings
The fridge/freezer itself is mechanically good, and has plenty of space for frozen and refrigerated items with adjustable shelves. However, the constructed 'outer shell' seems very flawed. We had to replace the door handles very soon after installation due to a failure which seemed to be due to a flimsy construction of the door handle connection. Similarly, the door shelves sit on some very flimsy plastic shelf holders that break after a short time of use, and seem unable to be repaired without replacing the entire door. An earlier model of the fridge/freezer that we had seemed to have similar issues, but this model appears even more flimsy in outer shell design.
Disappointed
Only a few months after purchasing and already 2 of the door shelves have completely broken off from the door itself so it can’t be fixed, as the fitting where the shelf fits onto the door has broken off. The door handle also cracked so we had that replaced. It’s very plasticy and weak.
Dissapointed
Purchased this Westinghouse Westinghouse 612L Side by Side from appliancesonline, however it is not cold in the freezer and has the CL code showing on display. I rang appliancesonline, but was offerred no help to resolve.
