Awesome Rangehood

Sleek Stylish and modern.
We recently upgraded our 20 year old kitchen and really hunted around for new sinks, stovetops and rangehoods to modernise our home. Every brochure seems to have flue type of rangehoods or glass dome type ones. Our existing kitchen had a fixed brown Westinghouse rangehood and although the brown HAD TO GO it had never missed a beat, was clean and best of all the kitchen cupboards and ceiling above the stovetop were clean, unstained and not sticky- so clearly the rangehood did its job well. Although I really loved the look of the flued one's in a home with 9 foot ceilings it was going to look odd with this massive flue and losing cupboards seemed such a waste. We kept going back to the Westinghouse fixed one and after 3 months of a new kitchen I am so very glad we did. It is sleek, stylish and modern. Excellent value for money, half the cost of some of the other styles. Looks awesome with its polished chrome look, small discreet buttons and curved edge design. Those rounded edges softens the look of the rangehood, it blends in beautifully and it sort of just hides away there, not in your face. It has 3 fan settings but really the second is the highest I have ever had to use. Easy to remove and clean the filters with the choice of charcoal filters if you want. I love the strong 40 watt light which I switch on in the early hours of the morning rather than having the unforgiving glare of the full kitchen lights. Who needs that blinding light early in the morning when you are trying to wake up and make a cuppa? I have every faith this Westinghouse will go the next 20 years and if there is a new kitchen due then, then I'll probably be going the same way.
Powerful and easy to clean
I bought this one and got it installed about a month. Very happy with the performance. Easy to install. Easy to clean the filter - just put into your dishwasher. Powerful suction of odeours of cooking odors - I exhaust it to the external wall
