With an A+ energy efficiency class and average heat pump power consumption of 0.45kW, the STIEBEL ELTRON SHP-O 201 Premium Heat Pump uses ambient heat to support efficient domestic hot water production. Natural R290 refrigerant with a GWP of 0.02 further supports its efficiency-focused design, while active defrost helps maintain effective operation in colder conditions.
For homes with solar generation, this solar PV compatible heat pump features SG Ready functionality, allowing the tank temperature to be raised to 75°C via solar input. This helps households make greater use of self-generated energy. The microchannel condenser is mounted directly on the cylinder to further support efficient heat transfer.
Everyday operation is straightforward, with dedicated controls for boost, pairing and emergency modes alongside clear status LEDs. MyStiebel App connectivity adds remote monitoring and control from a compatible smartphone or tablet, including hot water boost and timer functionality. At 47dB(A) sound pressure level measured at two metres, the system is also engineered with quiet operation in mind.
