This tv is nice and bright in a sunlit room, so watching during the day is fine. 4K DVDs look amazing, still watching with my mouth open! I was nervous about the quality of free-to-air broadcast, but even my old favourites like I Dream of Jeannie and Get Smart look good. Only thing that would have made this tv "more useable" would have been twin tuners to make better use of the USB/HDD connection for recording.

We purchased just over a year ago & are very happy with the performance. Sound is never adequate from integrated spekers as we have greater expectations with sound bars & satellite speakers available now days but this aside it is a really good TV. I am not a fan of Android & think as far as program selection SONY has had better proprietary systems on some of the old HDD recorders hopefully this will evolve with a few updates to make it a better experience. Still one of the best low to zero reflective panel surfaces & was visually better than the OLED TV that were available the latter part of 2016 when we looked at the options available. We had great debate on whether to go for the 65" rather than the 55" but after much visual comparison of the two we felt the 65" was just that bit better in picture performance. On other items the included wall mount bracket was easy to set up & with the low mass of the TV was easy to get more than adequate fasteners into the wall.
