We had the old model, which gave up so we thought this one should be as good or better. Wrong. This one comes with a glass turntable, and now it is clear why. The old one had a metal turntable, because it had a lower grill, as well as an upper grill. This oven only has an upper grill, which really doesnt do the job for things like pizza. The old oven had Pizza on the quick menu buttons and did a fabulous job. This one is a real failure if you want to crisp something from underneath. Also the oven doesn't get as hot as it should. We had it on 230c, and the oven thermometer showed only 200. Another thing, this oven feels kind of flimsy, not as solidly built as the last one.

I should have read the reviews first This huge piece of junk can not even heat a cup a milk in under 2 minutes Follow the instructions and place cup on the outside of the microwave still cold Can’t heat meals evenly, boiling in the outside freezing cold in the middle of the dish. How on earth can new technology be so bad. Waiting for a technician to come over to do the same tests I’ve done to determine this junk is faulty so I can return it for my original sharp 1200w inverter This this microwave is best used in landfill as it cannot cook food Steer clear and don’t make the mistake I made

I bough this microwave to replace a previous Sharp Convection model. There are some good new features. Found the defrost function not as good & can sometimes start to cook the meat a bit. Overall quite happy with our purchase so far.
