Purchased for Kitchen area and is great, just the right size. My only gripe is the size and location of writing when you change channels. It needs to be bigger and perhaps at the bottom of the screen in the middle. The sound could have a little more base however overall very happy.

We bought this to replace a 20 year old 24" CRT TV + set top box in our family room. It works beautifully, easy to set up, connects to our old combined DVD and VHS Tape player unit with the composite video inputs on the back of it. Lovely picture.

Our Samsung was purchased new , the first time it went wrong was a few years ago when we smelt something burning ,but did not realise it was the television ,then it went dead it was repaired and worked perfectly until we came home from holiday last week we switched it on it made a loud bang then went dead , no power ,no red light ,it is now in for repair and tv repairer estimates it is repairable but it will take 8-10 days for the parts. all in all this has been a reliable tv only going wrong twice in 7 years given the amount of use which is a lot ,it has not done to badly.
