I bought this recently and have to delete and reinstall all apps weekly. Samsung support were no use as they blame ISP providers.

I bought this TV at the start of 2019 and touch wood it has worked perfectly from using the ARC function to my amp to functionality that does not need and additional hardware to work. I can stream from my phone (iphone or andrid) or TV directly, netflix,stan, kayo,youtube, Apple TV. On a daily basis I am satisfied with the internal speaker for providing the sound, and use the ARC functionality when I want to blast music videos or movies. I can connect a memory stick, hard drive, to the smart hub. There are ample inputs, there are numerous app support such as the free to air apps of channel 9,7 and 10. Essentially this TV runs everything I need to run, and I don't need a computer to do it. I've very happy with this TV. The remote can also operate the amp (volume, on, off), it can operate the foxtel box IQ2, 3 (display the channel menu, adjust volume). You just have to master the buttons.

We love our new TV, the picture quality is superb and the remote is simple and easy to use (except with no number keys, the kids miss being able to type “22” for ABC Kids). The one connect box minimises cable mess. Although there are many Apps and accessing them is a breeze (ie Netflix), there are a number of Apps much loved Apps we haven’t been able to download (ie Kayo, NHL Gamecentre). Whilst shopping at another retailer, a Samsung rep said a software update would add Apple TV to this 2018 model, so far the software update option has remained shaded out and unavailable. We were hoping to keep using our Apple TV box on our old TV which is now in the kids’ playroom, but looks like we will need it for our new TV, which is disappointing. If not for these glitches, we would have given the TV 5 stars.
