I initially bought this Product (the Samsung WW85K5410WW Add Wash) back in February 2018 with the intent that it would be our forever washing machine. I waited till the machine broke down to write a review to give a overall idea of what were the pros and cons. The machine worked with us for 6 years (counting out the 2 years that it went on a hiatus as the unit I rented at the time had provided a washer during COVID). It was definitely a happy buy as we were happy to pay the price a the time (which was a little pricier compared to other models and brands). The best part of this washing machine were: It was water and energy efficient as well as it was generally quiet in operation. The washing machine wasn't making lots of noises if you ensure that the leveling of the Machine is correct. The capacity was more than sufficient for our needs. It was a lovely machine to work with. It was intuitive and easy to use. The different settings were more than enough for the level of washing we do: from underwear, to everyday clothing, bedding and dining wash items. The machine had 1 cold inlet only which was pretty much as space saver as you don’t need to plug those into too many areas. The Add Wash component was something I initially thought I would need but only ever used a handful of times. This was a nice to have but in hindsight, something that you can definitely go without. The bits that were not so great were: the water filter hose was a short for my liking. Making it harder to clean out as you have to find containers that won't cause for the contents to overflow. Another con (but not a complete showstopper) was cotton cycle, the max one was 3 hours which I think is too long. The major con for me was the lifespan of the machine (as we were hoping for to be a long term washing machine). Given that it was a household item that is used around 3-4 wash loads (usually averaging to 45-50 minute wash cycles for a daily item for at least 2-3 days a week. I had a reasonable expectation that it will be with us for at least 10 years before we had to replace it. The machine drum started to make funny sounds once it went into spin mode and we were told by an expert that the piece that was broken was the drum alignment which meant that it was already busted. Appliances Online is definitely a recommended company for us given that it is a one stop shop for Appliances. From Purchasing, Delivery, Installation and Disposal/Recycling of your older machine - I have recommended them to my friends and have bought most of my important appliances here.

Find my washing machine and dryer are both faulty, I have been waiting for months for someone to come and fix my washing machine to only Have tech one cancel multiple times to be lied to by Samsung. I will never buy Samsung again

I bought this washing machine 3 years ago. The seal has broken twice and now have to replace it again and it this will be the third time, costing us hundreds each time. We are not rough with our machine and are conscious to take extra care when taking out clothes because of how many times the seal as broken. Very unhappy with the quality with the price that you pay the washer should be with standing day to day use. I can not keep paying for a new seal to be installed. Will not be using this washing in the future.
