Tv veiwing/streaming= 5 stars Native sound= 3.7 stars Gaming= 2 stars The picture on this tv is excellent. It is the best I've come across and includes burn protection settings that are lacking in alot of other oled TV's. Crisp edges, deep colours and lots of customisable settings. It is great for streaming especially Netflix which has never looked better. I can't fault the viewing experience this gives. If you're only interested in watching movies, tv and streaming then this would be a perfect buy. The native sound is ok and better than alot of TV's offer these days but you'll want a sound bar to get the most out of it. This TV would be perfect to me if it wasn't for a couple of let downs. First one is a big one. PC/console gaming is limited to 60hz. Why Panasonic? This TV is more than capable of native 120hz at least. If I had known this before purchase, it actually would have been a deal breaker for me. Someone got lazy. If a software update was released to remedy this then that would make all the difference. Although the picture on games looks amazing (if it's not moving), with such a unnecessarily low refresh rate, movement is jagged and choppy which ruins it. If you're looking at a tv to game on, keep on looking unless Panasonic fixes this. Connectivity is unreliable. I can no longer connect to the internet wirelessly and have to be plugged in from the router. Netflix was having issues too but it seems like that may have been fixed with the last update. The app store is lacking and outdated compared to other branded TV's of similar calibre. For example still no Disney+........... Overall it is a very impressive tv with brilliant picture and excellent for general watching especially with a sound bar. It has so much more potential especially with the hardware and therefore capabilities it has, but due to lazy software and the 60hz limit on gaming, potential has been ignored and is a big let down in that regard.

I've had a 65" GZ1000U for 2 weeks now which was an upgrade from the Panasonic Plasma VT65. It took a little bit to get used to first with the picture after my eyes were trained from the plasma but the crispness and depth that you get from the OLED are amazing. The upscaling from standard HDTV is great! I wanted to watch Avengers End Game as the first movie and once I tuned the settings the way I wanted them it was incredible! Pure blacks and vibrant colours with Dolby Vision activated through Apple4K TV and the Disney+ app. My only issue is sometimes the screen will flicker on and off when I seem to stream something playback from Foxtel or from Netflix but from what I have read that is a known issue that future updates will fix. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and the sales team I dealt with over the phone from Mandurah hooked me up. It's a shame Panasonic is leaving the Australian marketplace so make sure you grab a premium TV for a great price before they are gone!
