Top mount sinks, such as this model from the Oliveri Sonetto series, can slot neatly into a cutout in your kitchen bench, and be partially held in place by gravity. As well as making installation simpler, this can also help reduce the risk of water damage to your benchtop material.

Sonetto sinks are compatible with a variety of accessories, transforming them into multi-purpose food preparation areas for your kitchen. Basket wastes can catch food particles before they go down the drain, and drainer trays or bamboo chopping boards that neatly fit over the sink bowls can provide additional kitchen work space.
Sleek and sophisticated
While this top-mount sink does have its lip edge sitting on top of your benchtop surface, its brushed stainless steel is just 1.2mm thick, minimising its impact on your kitchen’s appearance, for a low-profile look.
Keep your kitchen clean
Some industrial-style sinks feature sharp folds, edges and corners, where food particles can collect and build up. Because the Sonetto’s corners are softly squared corners, there’s less chance of nasty stuff building up here.
