Complicated to use
I bought this stovetop after changing over from gas. A year on and it is the biggest regret. It is complicated to use and the dial is a nightmare to use. Would not recommend to buy this unit for the price we paid.
Wouldn't reccomend at anywhere near RRP
After just a few months of use, scratches appeared while only using induction made clean pans. We even tested with a cotton bud for any imperfections on the pans. After a year of use there are loads of deep scratches all over the cooktop and we have been incredibly careful, to the point we don't want to even use it in fear of scratching it more.
Even though the print on top of the cooktop makes you think there is many cooking zones, there is only a thin line of induction zones on each side, and relies solely on the ability of the pans/pots used to provide even heat.
Knob is a terrible idea, often flies off while you spin it in a rush, have to remove it all the time to clean and then replace it when you want to use it - and you turn it on to then realise you forgot it, then you have to turn it off, put the knob on and turn it on again.
If it didn't scratch so easily, I would rate it higher, but when you spend this much, you would expect that it was able to deal with it's purpose without getting scratched up.
Quick to heat up mostly, looked good when new.
finicky and gimmicky
After months of use I still find this product hugely annoying. Yes, it can boil water quickly and yes it looks pretty slick. But that little dial thingy has a bad attitude a lot of the time, and the overly sensitive touch-top gets upset way too easily and shuts down in a huff (also the after-purchase service was very underwhelming). Overall an expensive disappointment.
