Initially the bean container stuck and there were parts in odd places. A most unusual occurrence. The machine was promptly replaced and now works a treat. My only observation is that in a house where only one bean type is used the three “containers” are not needed and a single option would help. The time out before switching off needs more emphasis as it took a while to sort out why it was rinsing so often.

After 14 years on the older MIELE model I decided to upgrade. I went first to the Brisbane showroom to understand the differences between the models. I chose this model to connect the coffee machine to the water main and do not regret it. If you load cartridges, it automatically cleans and descales itself. There is some cleaning and removal of water and waste you need to do but it is nowhere near as time consuming as in older models. The cleaning itself is much easier as parts are easy to pull out and fit back. The overall operation is super quiet, I was actuall very suprised how quiet it is. The LCD display works well and there is plenty of settings to tailor the drink to the desire taste. You can have a number of profiles for each family member and friend. There are also settings for different teas. Loving also the sleek look. Overall it was a great buy.

Great devise however disappointed no cleaning satchels are included I was told i needed to buy them online Mind you we just purchased numerous items for our home which is being renovated and hoping there are no more purchasing requirements for cleaning and care for items
