I own a number of 64xx series appliances, but compared to the others the H6400BM is incredibly frustrating. The user interface isn’t at all friendly, and also isn’t intuitive. Although it looks the same as the 64xx appliances it operates quite differently. At the end of a simple microwave cook, for example, it always asks you to save the settings. I never want to do that, but there's no way past that screen. And when you press the off button you then have to confirm that you really want to turn the oven off with an additional press of the OK button. Why? None of the other 64xx appliances have that extra step. If I press the off button it's obvious what I’m trying to do. It's like no thought has gone into the user interface. I expected much better ergonomics than this from Miele. Also, the buttons are less sensitive than my other 64xx appliances - often I'll touch them and my key-press simply doesn’t register. I own LOADS of Miele appliances but this is the first one that I’ve regretted buying. The annoying thing is that if I changed it for a different model it would no longer match my other ovens. I'm really not happy with this appliance and would advise people to steer clear.
