We purchased this fridge about 4 or 5 years ago and we are having the same problem as a few other reviewers. We noticed a funny sound coming from the back of the fridge so we checked the freezer and the food was starting to defrost. At this point it was still making ice but 1 day later no ice at all and now the freezer which is set to -19c wont go below -10c and the fridge is set to 3c wont go below 4-5c. We have have had our local expert look at it and he said the compressor may be on its way out and to just buy a new one as the 10 year warranty is only on compressor parts and the labour content alone would be huge. Maybe LG should look at the warranty on this model as this fridge is way too good to be just trowing out 🤦‍♂️

Only been like 3 years and the freezer can't keep cold and ice js melting water out.

The refrigerant system leaked. LG deemed it unrepairable. Fridge is 3 years old so LG honouring replacement.1 week into process and still without a new fridge. 2 stars because fridge was a dream when it worked. Upon googling this is quite a popular LG issue. So do your research.
