[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After persevering with a second-hand fridge for over a year, the seals started to let go and the opportunity to buy the LG 340L bottom mount fridge couldn't have come at a better time! Having a small home and fridge cavity, our options were limited but a bottom mount fridge was a non-negotiable and auto ice was a dream so to find the two in a compact fridge was a real treat. The fridge itself is very visually appealing and sleek and would fit well in any kitchen with the InstaView door not just a gimmick as I first assumed, it's proven a great feature prior to shopping trips and when trying to work out if something has been put in the fridge or not. This does result in some greasy fingerprints but that is easily handled with a quick buff with a tea towel. The storage space inside it so well utilised with the two huge, climate-controlled fruit/veg/meat drawers that keep everything well organised. The door storage is functional and convenient for all of those often-used items like milk and drinks, the egg storage tray a lovely addition. While the water reservoir for the ice takes up quite a bit of space, it's not an issue due to the design creating so much storage elsewhere. The freezer, while it has less storage space than my last freezer due to the ice bucket, the option to remove the bucket and turn off the auto ice feature is handy for cooler months or times when the extra space is required. and the convenience and practicality of the sliding shelf and basket make it so convenient to locate items in the freezer. The auto ice function is an absolute winner, especially during this warmer weather and has been well utilised for water bottles, frappes, keeping the dog's water cool and we're even finding that we're drinking more water as a result. While a little bit challenging for me due to wrist issues (I would have preferred to be able to refill the water reservoir without having to remove it from the fridge), it only needs to be filled every few days or less so that's a minor inconvenience that I can delegate to someone else to do but it is otherwise a simple process. The LG ThinQ app is a handy addition as well to be able to remotely adjust the temperatures or turn on express freeze which we've found also speeds up the ice refill rate during high use periods. It also features a handy smart mode that learns your fridge usage and adapts accordingly to save energy and maintain a consistent and safe temperature. This family is converted!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have had this LG InstaView 340 L for just over two weeks now and it’s honestly a lot better than I thought it would be. My old fridge was the same capacity but always felt packed. This one, same size, just feels roomier the shelves adjust properly, the crispers actually work and I can fit the whole grocery shop plus school lunch stuff without rearranging everything. with the freezer down the bottom means milk, snacks and dinner goodies are at eye level, which is so much easier with school aged kids around. The knock-to-see window is the best thing for after-school chaos. The kids come in, drop their bags, and instead of opening the fridge door twenty times they just knock twice and the light comes on so they can see what snacks we have. Way less cold air gets out and I’m not yelling “shut the door!” every five minutes. Genuinely useful. The ice maker is in the freezer drawer – there’s a little water tank up in the fridge section you top up every few days, and it quietly fills the ice bucket down below. We’re using heaps for water bottles and cold drinks now the weather’s warming up. Cubes are clear, no weird taste, and the kids love scooping them out themselves. Only real downsides: the glass can show fingerprints and smudges but no biggie (I just give it a quick wipe with a tea towel when I notice), and the door pockets can be a little small when buying lots of juices and milk. All in all, same litres as the old fridge but feels bigger inside, runs quiet, and the knock window has already made afternoons smoother. Pretty happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have been lucky to review and test the 340 L bottom mount fridge interview. The fridge arrived in excellent condition. Packaging was excellent and easy to install instructions. The fridge has many outstanding features but one that really stands out is the technology using the LG ThinQ app. Using the app you’re able to tell and change the temperature of the fridge and freezer. Also give you notification if the door is open and when it’s time to change the filters there is also a feature called smart learner this analyses the area surrounding the fridge and your usage patterns. The storage compartment on the door of the fridge allows you to have adjustable shelves with tall bottles containers write down to a smaller jars. The shelves are adjustable in the fridge, enabling you to customise for your family needs. Inside the fridge is a clear container which is the water storage for the automatic icemaker. This is one of my favourite features inside the freezer. Once a container is filled with clean portable water, the the container is attached to a pipe at the back of the fridge leading down to the freezer and enabling the ice to be produced. Be warned if the container is empty for the first time it can start for you when the ice hits the container, our family did get a laugh at this. The freezer is incredibly generous with the storage a top tray which I use for frozen vegetables and light items and a deep drawer which you can access all the way to the back. For a smaller compact fridge this is ideal for a smaller cavity in the kitchen. I love the innovative way that LG has made this size fridge available with a smart compact look. If you ever get an opportunity to try this fridge, I recommend you do.
