I purchased this model as it fit in the same recess of the Husky HUS-C2-840 were were replacing after over a decade. The seals had gone, there was condensation between the double glass doors and a small amount of corrosion. WE went for the stainless steel model as were live close to the ocean. The design of the new model is the same as the decade old model with some improvements. As it was going into customs cabinets in our alfresco Husky it was the only make that would fit without expensive alterations. So it was " hobsin's choice " If we get another decade or more from this unit we will be more than satisfied

Thermostat didn’t work properly. Had to send it back and get a refund.

This fridge just doesn't hold it's temperature. When it reaches the temperature you have set for it, say 4°, it immediately begins rising in temperature again, without opening the doors, starting up again when reaching 9° & cooling back down to 4° before the cycle starts again. Condensation forms on the center stiles of the doors in the morning, though this goes after an hour our so. You can also feel cool air around the doors. I have contacted Appliances Online about this but all they have done is pass it off to someone else, who I have not heard from. Very disappointed with this purchase & I would advise anyone thinking of buying one of these drink coolers to be wary of this one.
