BEWARE when purchasing this product! I love Fisher&Paykel appliances and have steadily changed all appliances over to F&P - the last one being a tumble dryer -4kg, front venting (beware) aerodry. This dryer requires venting outside - I knew this and purchased the venting kit at the same time (F&P P6451). All went to plan - Appliances Online delivery service worked very well - but when the Handy Crew Installation team member installed the dryer he did not alter the front venting system on the dryer- thus sending humid air into my laundry so that water was running down the walls. The separate ducted venting system to take other humid air outside the window did not operate successfully either - it is of VERY POOR QUALITY - very brittle plastic and then connector part between the duct on the back of the dryer and the venting hose was not the right diameter. There have been 2 problems here - 1) an error in installation and an unclear website on the part of Appliances Online, who have - I hasten to add- been excellent about fixing up the problem 2) a VERY POORLY manufactured venting system by Fisher&Paykel - not at all the sophisticated appliance design I have come to expect from them. However, I really appreciate the efforts the Handy Crew Team at Appliances Online is making to rectify the F&P poor part problem.
