Big fridge with freezing versatility if needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] large capacity needed to replace 30 year old whirlpool icemaker side by side 750L As with any new appliance some things are great and other things could be improved. So happy this new fridge didn't have the touch screen video screen options a couple of large competitor fridge/freezers had. I don't need to be able to watch TV on my fridge I need the fridge freezer capacity. I also liked the streamlined 4 door from with hidden handles. Love the variable option in freezer currently used solely as freezer would be nice if could select one draw as needed to chill both the whole side. The three crisper/in fridge are large. Single large draw do need to open both doors to get to would be great if this draw could be variable particularly if storing meat or good for drinks. Shelves in door are quite small compared to my previous fridge and does struggle to fit in larger drink bottles 3 litre milk. For a family this may be limiting with drinks/liquid requirement or even larger bottles of Asian condiments Fridge is super quiet do not hear it at all. Love the lighting in both fridge & freezer when doors opened. It is a big fridge I didn't have to fit into existing cavity dimensions very similar to old fridge just a bit higher As cabinet at top is not fully square I do see a metal silver top bit I prob stands out more so on black stainless Yes a problem visually for me as not hidden by cabinests/cavity being in at end of wall. Black stainless is really lovely colour its very glossy hence fingerprints show very easy But does wipe clean easily with a just damp microfibre cloth. Like the glass shelves as easy to clean. Depending on shelf position can limit the height of jars/bottles so this was a bit of a juggle. The freezer bins slide very easily and a couple are deeper than others. Plumbing is not yet connected as this was not done when delivered so will look forward to this when done to get ice chilled after again Water is available as other fridge plumbed but was told they were not qualified to connect. This not a Fisher Paykel issue but more the store and what their delivery service provided other than maybe fisherpaykel should deliver directly and not to store then for store to deliver to customer
The fridge that ticks all the boxes!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic fridge. We thought it might be too big for 2 people. But no! Is is so easy to fit everything in neatly and so easy to find food. We put our Hello Fresh bags along the top shelf making them easy to access.
The telescopic shelf runners are solid and smooth.
Just having water on the door keeps the fridge streamline. The ice is very easy to access in the freezer. Self closing doors make it a breeze to shut. If I have the fridge open too long, I get a gentle reminder with a buzzer. Also lets me know if the grandchildren have not closed the door!
Good temperature control.
I wish I had selected the black stainless steel as it would have suited my other appliances. But my mistake!!
Would recommend this fridge.
