A Complete Game Changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from gas to Induction after installing our solar system. Following extensive research into features, looks and performance I went with the Electrolux UltimateTaste 700 EHI955BE and have absolutely no regrets. The quality to value ratio is on point, and the Hob2Hood integration with the Electrolux rangehood sealed the deal. After spending decades cleaning the gas cooktop, I'm not stressing anymore about oil splatter and scrubbing hobs and grills, just spray and wipe. It's that easy. My ex insisted on gas when we built our house, but now I have it my way! This cooktop is smooth and sleek with modern aesthetics. The touch controls are responsive and easy to operate. Each of the 5 zones has its own cooking timer. The centre zone is our most used for large frying pans and woks. I wish the SenseFry feature was in the centre, I'm not sure why it's on a small zone at the back. This stovetop is powerful! I cannot highlight enough how important cookware quality is, make sure you invest in good pots and pans with a thick induction base. It will save you so much cooking time. After 2 years of use, it hasn't scratched at all, even when using cast iron cookware. Any spilled or burnt food can be easily cleaned with a gentle sponge scrub. I'm so happy with my Electrolux induction cooktop and rangehood, I've since purchased an Electrolux washer dryer, and can't wait to get a new Electrolux 90cm oven!
