Disappointing Purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven in 2019 to be installed in our new home. Originally the features of the oven seemed to be everything that I hoped for. The pyrolytic feature sounded great but after the first use the sliding oven racks never sat the same again. I had removed all racks prior to cleaning as recommended.They continue to roll out when you open the oven door which is very inconvenient, sometimes causing burns on your arms.Another problem which involved the pyrolytic cleaner was when after using the feature, the oven was clean but the heat had taken the colour out of the enamel in the top of the oven and on parts of the side panels where there had been stains, so I now have an oven which looks dirty all the time. I contacted Electrolux to let the know this problem had occurred but as my oven was out of warranty and upon inspection, it was decided that there was nothing they would do about it. Apparently don’t use olive oil in your oven. I would have to say I was terribly disappointed in the outcome as I had always kept the oven clean.
Multi-function oven
Fantastic oven, excellent for baking without a fan and roasting is perfect. Having the pyrolytic function means that it stays immaculately clean.
Multifunction indeed
We've had our Electrolux duo oven for 12 months now, and have just about used all of the features, and we absolutely love it. From baking cakes for our son's 2nd birthday party, muffins and pastries for school fetes, to regular Sunday roasts, baking fish and sardines, warming up cold pizzas and take out meals, the results are amazing. Fast heat up, beautiful browning of food, and moisture retention makes every meal enjoyable to make and share. The intuitive touch panel is a breeze flowing left to right to give you precise cooking control, whilst the stainless steel finish is easy to keep clean, the pyrolytic mode saves hours of cleaning, and un-necessary cleaning products with our young family.
