We had a precious model DC34 which served us well until the motor died. We also have a V10 and a Miele plug in for the bigger jobs, and wanted to replace the hand held This gets regular light use .Despite emptying after every use and washing the filter it started pulsing.My wife and I have just spent a quite few hours cleaning the machine.the filter was totally clogged inside and more importantly the interior, inside the shiny perforated cylindrical right up to the cyclones was full of debris /clogged . Dyson , can you put an official video up how to clean it please . The old Hand held DC34 was a simpler and effective design and never clogged up like this one .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The power dies within two minutes and when put in charge the light turns off early. I think it needs 3 hours charging but is not doing so.

I bought this less than a year ago and it will not keep a charge. If you ha e it on high power your lucky to get 2 minutes. On the lower mode it will run longer but not 30 minutes. It doesn’t pick up good and fast on the lower mode either. It does pick up but you may have to go over areas a few times in the low mode. Very disappointed cause it cost a lot and I can’t afford to get anything else!
