I this in late November 2020 expecting to have an ultra quiet fan with effective heating, cooling and air purifying. Overall good but the perceived cooling performance is disappointing. I am very disappointed with the fan sound level - all good when fan is directed but there is a slight mechanical 'clunck' sound when the fan turns when on widest range. This may not be a problem during the day but I mostly use the fan for cooling at night and this sound is very annoying and stops me from going to sleep unless I set the fan on the narrow range. I didn't expect this quality product to have that sort of noise problem which does undermine its value to me. Although I took the fan to the Dyson repairer they didn't think there was a problem. But as a customer I definitely think there is for sleeping on a hot night and so am disappointed given the cost. I haven't yet tested the heating effectiveness.

I’m not one for insincere reviews - and genuinely find reading them helpful in deciding weather I will buy a product or not! Honestly; although this is now the older model - I couldn’t rave about it more (I can’t imagine how incredible the newest model must be!!) The sheer thought and technology they have put into creating this machine is extremely impressive! I purchased this product to keep our baby safe throughout winter with clean, warm air (I dislike the thought of using a rental property air conditioner immensely) and wow. I love going into her room now because it is just so comfortable and clean. She seems to sleep better now too, which I love. Her bedroom is on the small side, so it works perfectly for the space. I hope this is helpful for someone :)
