The De La Espada Twenty-Five Desk reimagines the traditional workspace as a sculptural, welcoming object, designed to be placed at the centre of a room, not pushed against the wall. Crafted from Danish Oiled Walnut, its organic form draws inspiration from the curving shape of gourds and the functional beauty of Charlotte Perriand’s work. With no defined front or back, the desk offers flexible seating for up to two people, making it ideal for collaborative work or shared study.

Thoughtfully designed with both form and feel in mind, the Twenty-Five Desk invites touch and interaction. The substantial desktop features a gently rounded edge profile for comfort, while the solid timber legs are subtly scooped to highlight the natural beauty of the walnut. A single soft-close drawer is seamlessly integrated into the form, offering discreet storage. At the rear, a refined cable management system is concealed beneath a stone and brushed brass cover, adding a luxurious detail to this thoroughly practical piece.

Made at De La Espada’s solar-powered factory in Portugal, the desk showcases expert craftsmanship and sustainable materials. The solid walnut is responsibly sourced and finished by hand with non-toxic Danish oil, enhancing the timber’s depth and grain. Natural variations in both the wood and the European stone accents make each desk a unique expression of material integrity and thoughtful design.

Danish oiled walnut timber

De La Espada’s American black walnut timber is sourced from the American midwest and is characterised by its luxuriously figurative grain patterns and rich colour. This elegant timber is finished with Danish oil to ensure your furniture stands the test of time.

Masterful craftsmanship in every detail

The Twenty-Five Coffee Table showcases the natural beauty of solid wood, with its refined scooped leg details and expertly crafted joinery. Where the legs meet the tabletop, the seamless intersections highlight the artistry of traditional woodworking, creating a piece that is both functional and visually captivating.
