Sourced from the midwestern United States, American black walnut is revered for its strength and rich, expressive grain. Each piece offers unique colour variation, from deep chocolate tones to lighter blond sapwood. Finished with Danish oil, the timber’s natural beauty is enhanced while maintaining a surface that can be renewed over time.
Bay Gloss Lacquer
Bay Gloss is a high-gloss lacquer finish with a deep, richly pigmented blue-grey tone. Applied over a robust HDF substrate, it offers exceptional durability along with a smooth, light-catching surface. The reflective sheen enhances the colour’s depth, creating a bold contrast against natural timber for a refined, contemporary look.

Produced in De La Espada’s solar-powered workshop near Portugal’s Silver Coast, each piece is crafted by independent master artisans. Combining modern precision with traditional handwork, the process is tailored to bring out the finest qualities of every material used.
