De La Espada Together Table was designed as an extension of the Seating for Eating collective. Rounded ends act as drop leaves, creating a rectangular table when locked underneath. The simple and intuitive extension function utilises a sliding wooden bar. The rounded ends of the table allow for more flexible seating options, encouraging two people to squeeze in at either end for an informal and friendly feeling.
The narrower version physically brings the diners closer, making conversation easier. Together is also available in a wider version for those who require more space.

| Notes | The extension bars are centrally located on the hinged ends of the table. To extend, unlock the copper latch by sliding it to the side. Once released, fold the leaf upward, then pull the extension bar fully until it hits the stopper. |

| Material Notes | Timber is sustainable solid wood from North America or Europe, offering long-term repairability of the surface. Natural colour and grain variations in every plank makes each piece an individual. Traditional wood joinery bonded with wood glue ensures structural integrity. All finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed or rubbed. Due to limitations of the length of the premium wood planks available, the wood grain and plank placement on the extension leaves does not match that of the table. |
| Furniture/Homeware Material Details | Copper is a beautiful metal that has long been used in art and architecture. It is has a reddish-orange colour which over time develops a green patina. De La Espada coats their copper with Renaissance Wax which provides a barrier to slow ageing and oxidisation, while maintaining a natural appearance. Their brushed copper is brushed to create an appealing surface texture before the application of wax. |
