As part of the renovation of the Pavillion Dufour at the Chateau de Versailles, Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost came up with a homage to the Sun King. The “In The Sun“ collection radiates festive hues of gold and silver in conjunction with softly cast shadows. The result is a very special atmosphere in the rooms they are used to light.
Architectural Light Composition
The layered structure combines metallic surfaces with fine mesh to produce a controlled diffusion of light. This thoughtful composition enhances both the visual depth and the softness of illumination within the space.
Signature Light and Shadow Play
When lit, the fixture casts intricate, decorative shadows that shift gently across walls. This dynamic effect adds movement, atmosphere, and a sense of visual richness to otherwise static surfaces.
