PowerReady is designed to make upgrading easier by enabling the Chef 60cm induction cooktop to operate with a 20A electrical connection. This low-current configuration provides a convenient option where electrical capacity is an important consideration, while still delivering the responsive performance associated with induction cooking.
Four induction zones provide flexibility for preparing multiple dishes, with nine power levels allowing precise adjustment to suit different cooking tasks. When extra intensity is required, PowerBoost provides a rapid increase in heat, ideal for tasks where quick, powerful heating is useful.
Simple touch controls keep the cooking surface uncluttered and make power adjustments straightforward. A Pause function adds everyday convenience by allowing cooking to be temporarily interrupted when needed.
Safety features include residual heat indicators that show when the cooking surface remains hot after use. A child lock helps prevent unintended operation, while the automatic switch-off function provides an additional layer of everyday safety.
The durable black ceramic glass surface also creates a flat, easy-to-access cooking area that complements modern kitchen designs. With four zones, PowerBoost, intuitive touch operation and useful safety functions, the Chef CHI6434BD 60cm induction cooktop offers a practical pathway to responsive induction cooking.
