Why waste words..................BRILLIANT!!!!!
Much easier to clean than the old Blanco one it replaced. Heats better with more control particularly regarding the Work Burner.
Great gas cooktop
I only got this last week to replace my old gas cooktop. Have used it several times and am so happy with it. The wok burner is so powerful with 18mj capacity. The different sizes of burners just cater for all my cooking needs. Love the front knobs, so easy to switch on the burners. The stainless steel cooktop is easy to clean. I'm so happy with this product and ended up replacing my old oven with a new Bosch oven few days later.
Generally pleased
The front control knobs are a boon for left-handers - no temptation to reach across an active burner.
The wok ring gets the wok very hot very quickly, and the removable trivet provides stability.
It's a bit inconvenient having the other large burner at the back of the cooktop, but that's inevitable with the 2x2 burner arrangement. I think I especially notice this because my old cooker had three regular burners and one small one, not four different sizes.
The surface is generally easy to keep clean (hint: keep a clean cloth handy to dry the surface after cleaning), but sometimes marks remain even if you clean up splashes as soon as the cooktop has cooled. So far, that's been fixed by occasionally using an appropriate stainless steel cleaner.
The centre 'plates' on the burners are a different matter - any splashes seem to cause permanent marks. And I'm not convinced that the rough enamel on the trivets will be easy to keep clean in the long term.
The real test will be time - how long will the igniters last? Will the control panel labels wear off? That sort of thing.
But so far, no regrets - it looks good and works well.
