Excellence in Design
As an ex-Chef, I always buy Bosch stoves and appliances. I find that they are consistently reliable and perform to perfection. However, having recently had a Bosch upright stove and range hood installed, there were a few issues. The instructions for installation of the range hood were INSIDE the range hood, as opposed to being in the box. The installer had some issues with installation, until he found the instructions. Also, the plumber had an issue with adjusting the flame height on the cook top. He explained that most cookers had a central screw on the knob, which facilitated the adjustment. In order to complete this adjustment on the Bosch, he had to disassemble the top of the stove, a much more complicated process, costing more. Otherwise, the final product is excellent.
Some deficiencies
We have been using this stove for about 2 weeks. Cooking has been excellent so far. There are some deficiencies
a) Door very dirty after only one roast
b) Timer volume could be louder and adjustable
c) The storage drawer need a higher back so items do not fall out when it is opened
d) The hob base has a non-parallel gap (appearance)
great quality
I bought my stove about one month ago and was extremely happy with the service that was given with the delivery men. I was also pleased when the same men came and removed my old one from our property. The use that I have had of the stove has been very good. It has good gas control and the oven gives a good result with cooking and making toast.I am very happy that I bought the Bosch that Choice magazine gave an extremely good marking to. I am very happy that I chose Appliances on Line for the buying.
