Incomplete for installation to vent externally
The cooktop comes without all the necessary parts to install. Specifically, you need to order one of 4 venting kits. 3 are for internal venting (if you have no other choice), and only 1 is for external venting.
That 1 external venting kit has incomplete instructions and no cowl. And the parts are nonstandard sizes. So take into account that actual cost is $250 more, plus the custom cowl fabrication, and the whole thing is a massive pain.
Downdraft Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent cooktop to save space. The integrated exhaust fan means this cooktop can be installed without an overhead exhaust above it meaning there is now more shelf space in the kitchen. This product works beautifully and is very quiet.
