I bought this to replace a 15 year old Bosch fridge and thought the new one would be very similar, it isn't. Noticeably lower quality, the vegetable drawers jam if not pushed in with great care. It no longer has a separate drawer for cheese etc and the egg holders and butter dish are laughable more like something you would find in a $2 shop. Compared to their other products, I have a Bosch dishwasher, double oven, cooktop and dryer, it is well below in quality. They should stop selling these fridges as it does nothing for their reputation.

I bought this top mounted fridge a month ago at a fantastic price. At the time I was told that Bosch might not make these again. And my Bosch was one of the last available. I umm’d and arrr’d as its foot print was deeper than the equivalent Westinghouse and it did not have a freezer door shelf that I had been used to with my old Kelvinator but.... at such a remarkable price (I paid just under $880) I took the plunge. I am so happy I did. The fridge is simple in layout, you can see all your produce and drinks stowed at a glance. The freezer stores icecream at a perfect temperature for ease of scooping (unlike my last fridge). I would give it five stars but for two things that I have needed to adjust to. The first is the extremely wide opening door that can if you are not ready to grab it - swing right around 180 degrees and therefore the door handle bashes the adjacent bench top. And the temperamental fridge drawers which need to be pulled out facing square on. All now accommodated in my use but therefore I have allocated only four stars. Overall a fantastic fridge and even better buy on special. Thankyou Bosch.

Clearly a robust fridge that will last years, there’s no bells and whistles. Some of the design features are a bit ordinary, such as the butter dish, egg trays and ice tray feel cheap. The ability to set the freezer temp, the bottle rack and spacious fresh produce drawer are great features. It’s bigger than it actually looks, but sometimes makes sounds that seem random - can be noisy. Overall a good quality fridge that I’m certain won’t need replacing for a number of years. If a power tool could be a fridge this would be it!
