This unit is very efficient and dries out the room very well and removes that damp smell. It also warms the room and speedily dries out my washing which is hangs on the clothes horse inside. This was an unexpected added benefit of this unit. I think it might have been better to get two small units rather than one large one for our downstairs level as its not one big room but a long hallway with rooms off it. Two smaller ones might have been less noisy that this larger one. the noise doesnt bother us as we rarely go to that part of the house but it would if it was in a space we used every day. I like that it turns on automatically when the humidity increases to the selected measurement. I like that it reads the humidity so we can see how damp the room is. Would recommend this unit if you wont be bothered by the noise it makes.

This little unit exceeded all expectations. Our downstairs area gets little sunlight and we had a lot of mould issues. This unit has been game changing. No more mould and a bonus surprise a lot less dust also. It sucks a phenomenal amount of moisture out and is easily wheeled around to each room. We only have it on during the daytime so the noise doesn't bother us.

I now have a number of Ausclimate dehumidifiers which I use regularly in my five bedroob house in Queensland. I have found that the Ausclimate NWT Supreme All Season 50L Dehumidifier WDH-070EBP to be the best designed and must useful for me. They are a little more expensive than I would like but they do the job well.
